Work Immersion Reflection
Reflection on My 10-Day Work Immersion at LDRRMO My 10-day work immersion at the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO) was an eye-opening and rewarding experience. Throughout the program, I had the opportunity to learn and apply essential life-saving skills such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), proper bandaging techniques, and various types of ties used in first aid and emergency response. Learning CPR taught me the importance of quick thinking and calmness during life-threatening situations. Knowing how to perform chest compressions and rescue breathing gave me the confidence to respond effectively in emergencies. The bandaging lessons helped me understand how to properly cover wounds to prevent infection and control bleeding, which are critical skills in disaster response. Additionally, learning the different kinds of ties, such as triangular bandages and tourniquets, taught me how to immobilize injuries and provide support in emergency situations. Beyon...
